Milo Ventimiglia Joins ‘Heat’ Remake


Statham starring as recovering gambling addict

Milo Ventimiglia has joined the remake of the 1986 drama “Heat” opposite Jason Statham.

Ventimilgia will portray the son of a powerful businessman who’s friends with a mobster and casino owner.

“Heat” is produced by SJ Pictures, Quad Productions and Current Entertainment. Simon West is directing from William Goldman’s script.

Burt Reynolds starred in the original about a recovering gambling addict who finds work providing protection to his friends.

Ventimiglia will be seen late this year in “Grace of Monaco”  and  has a role in the Adam Sandler comedy “Grown Ups 2.

He is repped by CAA and Management 360.
