Millennium rocks ‘Baby’ in U.S.

Helmer-scribes Garant and Lennon also produce and star in chiller

Millennium Entertainment has acquired all U.S. rights to horror-comedy “Hell Baby.”

Robert Ben Garant and Thomas Lennon wrote, directed, produced and star in the film, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January.

Darko Entertainment’s Sean McKittrick and Jeff Culotta, and Principato-Young’s Peter Principato and Paul Young also produced. John D. Lynch, David Lincoln and Darko Entertainment’s Edward H. Hamm, Jr. exec produce.

Darko Entertainment financed.

Cast includes Rob Corddry, Leslie Bibb, Keegan Michael Key, Riki Lindhome, Rob Huebel, Paul Scheer and Michael Ian Black.

Story centers around an expectant couple who move into the most haunted fixer-upper in New Orleans — a house with a demonic curse. The Vatican’s elite exorcism team is called in when things spiral out of control.

Lennon and Garant have written nine other features together, including the “Night at the Museum” films.

“Hell Baby” will debut on all VOD platforms this fall before its theatrical run 30 days later.

Millennium Entertainment’s VP of acquisitions Tristen Tuckfield brokered the deal with CAA, which negotiated on behalf of Darko Entertainment, and Principato-Young.
