'One of Asia's top stars,' director notes

Michael Bay has added Asian performer Han Geng to the cast of “Transformers 4,” opposite Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Nicola Peltz, Sophia Myles and Li Bingbing.

The director announced the casting on his web site www.MichaelBay.com. Bay has used his site to introduce nine of the vehicles he’s using in the tentpole, which began shooting in late May.

“He’s one of Asia’s top stars in the worlds of music, television and movies and has become one of the most influential entertainers in China,” Bay said. “Now he’ll also be known for ‘Transformers 4.’ Welcome Han Geng to the cast of ‘Transformers 4.'”
