Company produced 'Beasts of the Southern Wild'

Paul Mezey, an exec producer on Benh Zeitlin’s “Beasts of the Southern Wild,” has signed on as a producer in residence at Cinereach, the not-for-profit production company and foundation that produced Fox Searchlight’s “Beasts” along with Court 13.

Mezey, founder of Journeyman Pictures, also teamed with Cinereach on Joshua Marston’s “The Forgiveness of Blood” and Tom Gilroy’s “The Cold Lands,” which preems at Berlin. He produced “Half Nelson” and “Maria Full of Grace” via Journeyman.
