Steven Soderbergh’s latest film for Open Road Films, “Side Effects,” may spur some auds to worry about their own meds. But co-producer and consultant Dr. Sasha Bardey says not to worry too much.
“A lot of medications have side effects, but keep in mind, side effects are rare — but we’re talking about millions of people taking a medication,” said Bardey at Thursday’s Gotham preem at AMC Loews Lincoln Square 13. “So even if a side effect happens 1% of the time, you have 100,000 people taking it: Do the math.”
