    I think it takes a lot of commitment for that sort of role. Props to her for staying authentic & being part of an Oscar award-winning film.

    @Comment about Sarah.
    Just because she got naked. Doesn’t make her one of the greats.
    @nxt comment – different casting/situation on a story of a billion people.

    Up and coming actor Sarah Lynn Eilts bravely took on the role of Ron’s Hooker in Dallas Buyers Club. Her performance was noted at the Toronto International Film Festival.
    Undertaking this role, with its nudity component, would likely have been a difficult moral decision for a steadfast Christian like Sarah; however, she is committed to her craft and the necessity of truth in her role.
    I support Sarah’s decision despite my reservations about the nudity; all too often actresses – especially – are depreciated by sites such as Mr. Skin, who reduce their role to nude scene captures, pornographic GIFS, and other such nonsense. Moreover, the permanence of these images on the internet may preclude one from commencing a different future career path, such as a school teacher.
    Good luck Sarah; I hope your bargain pays dividends.

    It’s a very very very sick & twisted movie. Anti-women, and Anti-hetroism…
    Anyone for Opposite marriage won’t want to see Matthew McConaughey flim/movie!
    It’s a good thing Burt Reynolds, drove by Dallas Buyers Club! He didn’t want to be in a GAY STD filled Smokey and the Bandit rip-off…
    “Loosely” ever so Loosely based on actual events. It’s a very independent film. For independent people, who enjoy (personal ) independence. And enjoy getting offended on a regular basis.

    Regularly… shrugs..
