Martin Landau will receive the Israel Film Festival’s career achievement award at the fest’s opening night.

The gala has been set for April 18 at the Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills.

The festival, now in its 27th year, noted Landau received the Best Supporting Oscar for “Ed Wood” along with nominations for “Tucker” and “Crimes and Misdemeanors.” His film credits also include “North By Northwest,” “Cleopatra,” “The Aryan Couple” and, most recently, Tim Burton’s animated “Frankenweenie.”

Landau has also received six Emmy nominations, including “Without a Trace” and “Entourage.” Past recipients of the festival’s career achievement award include Richard Dreyfuss and Bob Balaban.
