Lucas Till is headed for Downer’s Grove, signing on to topline Derick Martini’s indie thriller “The Curse of Downer’s Grove” opposite Aimee Teegarden, Jill Hennessy and Kevin Zegers.
Oren Segal, Jason Dubin and Chiara Trento are producing with lensing set for Los Angeles during spring.
Martini, who directed “Hick,” is helming from a script he co-wrote with Bret Easton Ellis, adapted from 2001’s Michael Hornburg novel. Story centers on a paranoid high school senior who’s worried about an apparent curse that takes the life of one student every year at the school.
Till starred in “X-Men: First Class” and recently wrapped on David Hayter’s werewolf thriller “Wolves” and espionage thriller “Paranoia” alongside Liam Hemsworth. He has also filmed “Stoker” for Fox Searchlight.
Till is repped by APA and managed by Tom Sullivan.
