Michael Huffington producing teen drama

“X-Men” star Lucas Till,  Joel Courtney and Ally Sheedy will star in teen drama “Sins of Our Youth” with shooting about to start in Las Vegas.

Michael Huffington, the former politician who’s become a movie producer, is producing via his Huffington Pictures banner.

Mitchel Musso, Bridger Zadina, Grant Harvey and Dani Knights also star. Gary Entin is directing from a script by his twin brother, Edmund, in the story of four teenage boys who accidentally kill a young boy while recreationally shooting assault rifles.

“Sins” re-teams the Entins with Huffington following their collaboration on “Geography Club,” which was recently acquired by Breaking Glass. Huffington also produced “Grassroots,” a film directed by Stephen Gyllenhaal, and Michael Mohan’s romantic comedy “Save the Date,” which premiered at Sundance last year and was acquired by IFC Films.

Till is reprising his role as Alex Summers/Havok in “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”
