LONDONThe 10th London U.K. Film Focus, a mart for British movie projects, will take place June 24-27. The event, staged by regional agency Film London, is designed to introduce and promote U.K. films and talent to the international market. It attracted more than 120 international film buyers, and fest programmers last year, and generated approximately $8.5 million worth of sales. LUFF also includes a Breakthrough strand for emerging British filmmakers seeking sales representation. It is produced in partnership with the British Film Institute, the Mayor of London’s office, Film Export U.K. and U.K. Trade and Investment. “London U.K. Film Focus has proven to be an established and successful event within the U.K. industry calendar, upholding its role as an indispensible mechanism for U.K. films to reach international audiences,” said Adrian Wootton, CEO of Film London and the British Film Commission.
