CBS Films has set June 14 as a limited domestic release date for its comedy “The Kings of Summer,” formerly titled “Toy’s House.”
Pic opens against Warner Bros.’ “Man of Steel” and Sony’s Seth Rogen comedy “This Is the End.”
“Kings of Summer” follows three teenage boys — played by Nick Robinson, Gabriel Basso and Moises Arias — as they head into the wilderness with a plan to build a house and live off the land.
“Kings of Summer” is directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts from Chris Galletta’s script. Producers are Tyler Davidson, Peter Saraf and John Hodges.
Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally and Alison Brie also star.
