Thesp replaces Anne Hathaway who has left the project

With Anne Hathaway unable to star due to conflicting schedules, Keira Knightley has come on to replace her in “Laggies.”

Pic stars Chloe Moretz and Sam Rockwell with Lynn  Shelton helming from a script by Andrea Siegel. EW broke the news of the casting.

Story follows a woman who is stuck in permanent adolescence and lies to her fiance about going on a retreat and instead hangs out with friends.

Steve Golin, Alix Madigan and Rosalie Swedlin are producing for Anonymous Content.

Hathaway recently signed on to star in Christopher Nolan’s “Interstellar,” which goes into production in June  around the same time that “Laggies” is due to start up.

Knightley was most recently seen in Focus’ “Anna Karenina” and can be seen next in Paramount’s “Jack Ryan.” She is repped by CAA, United Agents and the Schiff Company.
