Bryce Dallas Howard and Ty Simpkins also in talks for parts

Josh Brolin is in early talks to star in Universal’s “Jurassic World.”

Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson are also in talks to star in the Jurassic Park installment. Colin Trevorrow (“Safety Not Guaranteed”) is directing the sci-fi adventure movie and also will co-write the script with Derek Connolly.

Plot details are being kept under wraps but it is known that Robinson would play Simpkins older brother in the pic.

Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley will produce “Jurassic World,” which is set to begin filming early 2014.

Like many other actors for this film, Brolin was being looked at early in the process before production was delayed for rewriting purposes.

The dinosaur reboot will hit theaters June 12, 2015.

Brolin, who is repped by CAA, can be seen next in Spike Lee’s “Oldboy.”

Please leave Jurassic park alone!! The first one was good. Left out a few good parts from the book but otherwise stuck to the plot. The lost world though….. Was a god awfull piece of crap. Had almost nothing to do with the book. Maybe if I hadn’t read it and didn’t have such high expectations, I might have enjoyed it, but somehow I doubt that. And now a fourth one??!! Michael crighton is rolling in his grave.

Who cares about this movie,it’s just going to be all CGI crap anyways. Animatronics is better like in the old Jurassic Park movies.

Bryce Dallas Howard and Josh Brolin? Really? Why don’t they hire Katherine Heigl to make sure there is, not single not dual but a triple dose of box office poison?

  4. Robert says:

I’m so sick of the word “reboot”. This is not a reboot. This has been known as “Jurassic Park 4” for a couple of years now, and in those couple of years its SCRIPT WAS BEING WRITTEN. It’s a sequel, but the events in this movie won’t rely on the events from the past movies. A clean slate. It’s still a sequel though.

Jurassic World just sounds more badass, and is much more engaging than simply a number at the end. And the title itself nearly justify’s the movie’s existence. Because the audience is going to go: “Why a Jurassic Park Four?” and the filmmakers go “No no, this is JURASSIC WORLD. This is a whole different box of tricks.”

    Chills. I can’t wait.

  5. I’m wondering if it’s a remake of the original ” J P. ” or a spinoff , so to speak?
