J.J. Abrams Releases Mystery Trailer ‘Stranger’

J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions released a new, mystery trailer dubbed “Stranger” to a wave of Internet speculation on Monday. The black and white clip features a man crawling back to shore with the following voice over:

“He arrived knowing nothing of himself. Who is he? Soon he will know. Because what begins at the water shall end there. And what ends there shall once more begin. This is what happens when we become lost, when we vanish, when we are erased and reborn. “

Abrams is currently hard at work developing “Star Wars: Episode VII” for Disney but the “Stranger” clip is likely a new television or digital series.

Bad Robot has several projects in development, including an event series based on a script from “Twilight Zone” creator Rod Serling as well as the Stephen King JFK time traveling property “11/22/63.”
