Instagram Enters Movie Trailer Biz With ‘Jobs’ (VIDEO)

Pic bows Aug. 16

Studios are finding more and more ways to reach auds through social media platforms and Open Road’s “Jobs” biopic has now found the next route: Instagram.

The new clip is only about 15 seconds and features a quick clip of Steve Jobs, played by Ashton Kutcher, talking about the people who usually make a difference tend to be “the crazy ones.”

While short the Instagram trailer marks another route more studios will probably begin taking as part of future marketing campaigns given the amount of users the social media tool attracts.

Earlier this year, Fox released a 10 second Vine clip to tease the first trailer for “The Wolverine” which drew a lot of buzz prior to the trailer bowing.

“Jobs” opens on Aug. 16.
