IM Global Pacts with Impuls Pictures

IM Global and Switzerland’s Impuls Pictures have partnered on a new output deal, the companies announced Tuesday from Cannes.

Deal adds to IM Global’s existing network of output partners, which include Universum in Germany, Top Film in Russia and Eastern Europe, Sun Distribution in Latin America, and eOne in the U.K., Canada and Spain.

IM Global prexy Jonathan Deckter and senior VP of legal and business affairs Elizabeth Powell hammered out details of the partnership with Impuls’ Peter and Patrick Schaumlechner over the weekend.

Impuls’ three core divisions include home entertainment, theatrical and production. The Schaumlechners founded the company in 1986.

IM Global is shopping pics including Martin Scorsese’s “Silence” and mob pic “Gotti” at the festival.
