‘House of Sand and Fog’ Director to Helm ‘Timeless’ for Relativity (EXCLUSIVE)

Phillip Noyce was originally attached to helm

“House of Sand and Fog” helmer Vadim Perelman has been tapped to direct “Timeless” for Relativity.

Phillip Noyce was originally attached to direct but had to withdraw due to a scheduling conflict with The Weinstein Company’s The Giver.”

Relativity is said to be high on the latest draft by Bill Kelly.

Story follows a widower who wants to travel back in time to solve a matter with his wife, and learns she has left him her fortune.

Relativity CEO Ryan Kavanaugh and Tucker Tooley will produce.

The WME-repped Perelman also penned the script for “The Giver” which has begun heating up on the production side with Jeff Bridges attached to star and the Weinstein Co. and Walden Media producing.

    Actually Phillip Noyce left Timeless at Relativity to direct Michael Mitnick’s script of The Giver for Weinstein.
