‘Gone Girl’ Author Gillian Flynn Signs With WME

Has also written "Dark Places" and "Sharp Objects"

Gone Girl” author Gillian Flynn has inked with WME for representation in film, television and book-to-film-and-TV.

Besides “Gone Girl,” Flynn has also written “Dark Places” and “Sharp Objects.” All three tomes are currently being adapted into feature films. She is also penning a pilot for HBO.

David Fincher is directing “Gone Girl” at Fox with Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike set to star. Charlize Theron and Chloe Moretz are set to star in “Dark Places,” which is also set to go into production shortly.

Levine Greenberg Literary Agency continues to represent Flynn in publishing. Flynn’s attorney is Karl Austen.

    Perhaps WME (et al), can one day take pride in finding and developing talent. Or at least one day concede, they’ve never helped an artist find their first job, or their last — but merely sought to suck the most from what exists in-between.
