Gold Circle Heading 'Eden' With Olatunde

Director on board following pre-emptive spec script deal

Gold Circle Entertainment has tapped Olatunde Osunsanmi to direct sci-fi actioner “Eden” from his own script.

The production company made deal following a pre-emptive purchase of Osunsanmi’s spec. The deal marks a reunion for the filmmaker, who directed “The Fourth Kind” for Gold Circle.

“Eden” is described as a modern day science fiction take on the Underground Railroad legend with aliens oppressing humans. The story follows a family on the run, jeopardizing their lives to get to a free city.

Gold Circle topper Paul Brooks will produce with Gold Circle’s Scott Niemeyer and Guy Danella exec producing.

Osunsanmi most recently directed “Evidence” for Marc Platt Prods. and Bold Films. His “Dark Moon” script was developed at Warner Bros.

Osunsanmi is repped by CAA, Caliber Media, and attorney Stuart Rosenthal.
