Frankenstein Revived As Aaron Eckhart In ‘I, Frankenstein’ Trailer Debut

Lionsgate opening film on Jan. 24

Aaron Eckhart is returning as a modern-day Frankenstein, named Adam Frankenstein and facing off against an array of supernatural creatures in Lionsgate’s first trailer for “I, Frankenstein.”

The film is based on the graphic novel Kevin Grevioux, who also wrote the screenplay in which Frankenstein is involved in a war between two immortal clans in an ancient city.

Bill Nighy portrays a demon prince and Yvonne Strahovski plays a scientist with Stuart Beattie directing.

Lionsgate is opening “I, Frankenstein” on Jan. 24.

  1. The creature is now a sexy, brooding warrior guy with great hair and rockin’ abs? And it’s PG-13? AND there’s gonna be CGI angels and sword fights and it’s set in modern times so we can get lots of product placement??? Have I died and gone to cinema Heaven??? Will Alec Baldwin make a cameo? Will there be a jumpin’ hip hop soundtrack where there’s a scene where Frankenstein will rap for us? Oh, GOD!!! I hope I live long enough to experience this high point in movie history! Suck it, James Whale!

  2. This actually looks very cool. Good concept and cast. Why do we have to wait til January?
