Fox’s Marcy Ross exits net

Exec logged over a decade at network

Fox’s Marcy Ross, exec veep of current programming, is ankling the net.

Departure comes at the end of Ross’ three-year contract extension, which she inked with Fox in summer 2010.

During her tenure at Fox, Ross oversaw skeins including “Glee,” “House” and “The Simpsons.” Before being tapped as exec veepee in 2007, Ross served as senior VP of current programming for Fox.

Ross will now pursue the creative end of the TV biz, though there’s no word on where she will land next. A successor has not been named.

In the interim, Ross will remain aboard at Fox as a consultant to ensure a smooth transition.
