Fox Hill takes ‘Damnation Street’

New thriller to be based on trilogy of novels

Fox Hill Prods. has picked up the development and production rights to a trilogy of mystery novels by Andrew Klavan, to be made into a single film called “Damnation Street.”

Klavan has penned the screenplay based on his novels “Dynamite Road,” “Shotgun Alley” and “Damnation Street.” Storyline centers on a P.I. and a serial killer both tracking the same woman.

Two of Klavan’s previous novels, “True Crimes” and “Don’t Say A Word,” have also been adapted into pics.

Film version of “Damnation Street” will be produced by Samantha Lusk, Andrew Hyatt and Seth David Mitchell of Fox Hill Prods. The shingle is currently in post-production on post-apocalyptic thriller “The Last Light,” and its next outing, “The Stanleys,” is set to begin lensing in North Carolina in May.
