The Elizabeth Banks comedy “Walk of Shame” will be released on April 25 in the U.S. release, with Focus World handling.

The comedy will open against DreamWorks’ actioner “Need for Speed” and The Weinstein Co.’s “Grace of Monaco.” “Walk of Shame” had been set for March 14 as part of the FilmDistrict slate before those titles became part of the revamped Focus in October.

In the film, Banks portrays an aspiring reporter whose dreams of becoming a network news anchor are compromised after a one-night stand leaves her stranded in downtown Los Angeles.

“Walk of Shame,” directed by Steven Brill from his own script, co-stars James Marsden and Gillian Jacobs. The movie is produced by Lakeshore Entertainment and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment.
