Disneyland Employee Arrested in Toontown Explosion

Authorities are saying it is an isolated incident.

A 22-year-old Disneyland employee has been arrested in connection with the explosion that occurred at the theme park on Tuesday, the Los Angeles Times is reporting.

The man is Christian Barnes, a Long Beach resident who worked at the park as a soda-cart vendor. The Times goes on to add that the man is cooperating and that it was an isolated incident.

The explosion occurred after the employee placed dry ice in a plastic bottle that he then threw out, which led to the explosion. No injuries were reported, but authorities closed down the Toontown section of the park after the explosion occurred.
