Matt Tolmach producing Sony's genre pic
Sundance starlet Mackenzie Davis (“Breathe In”), Nicholas Braun (“The Perks of Being a Wallflower”) and Josh Fadem (“The Eric Andre Show”) are in talks to star in Sony Pictures’ genre movie “The Kitchen Sink,” which Matt Tolmach is producing and Robbie Pickering will direct from a Black List script by Oren Uziel.
Chris Zylka, who played Flash Thompson in Sony’s “The Amazing Spider-Man,” is also being eyed for one of the main roles.
A monster mash-up movie in the vein of “Zombieland,” story follows a pair of teens (Davis and Braun) who form an unlikely alliance with vampires and zombies in order to take on an alien army.
Sony recently greenlit the movie, which is expected to shoot this summer.
