Fox 1999 cult hit will screen first Sept. 22 at 2 p.m.
Ready for round two, “Fight Club” fans?
As part of Cinemark’s Classic Film Series collection, the exhib will screen David Fincher’s 1999 cult hit starting Sept. 22 at 2 p.m., followed by two additional screenings on Sept. 25 at 2 and 7 p.m.
The film series, an attempt to drive traffic into theaters during non-peak times, also includes “Vertigo,” “Bonnie and Clyde,” “The Matrix,” “Risky Business” and “Dirty Harry.” Auds can purchase a $30 bundled ticket of the six films screening in October and November.
Cinemark has included “Fight Club” and other relatively recent titles such as “The Matrix” and “JFK” in an effort to attract under-25 filmgoers.
“Fight Club” earned north of $100 million worldwide via Fox during its original theatrical release. Cinemark will screen a digitally restored version of the Brad Pitt-Edward Norton thriller.
