Directors upped from 12 to 13 members

Longtime media investor Gordon Crawford has joined Lionsgate’s board of directors, increasing the size of the studio’s board from 12 to 13 members.

Lionsgate made the announcement Tuesday, a day after posting quarterly earnings above Wall Street expectations.

Crawford retired in December from Capital Research and Management after more than 40 years at the investment management company.

He’s currently the chairman of the board of trustees of the U.S. Olympic Foundation and vice chairman of the Paley Center for Media.
