Content nabs int’l rights to ‘Concussion’

Shingle will be selling terrritories at Berlin

Content has bought all international rights to Stacie Passon’s directorial debut “Concussion” and will be selling terrritories at Berlin.

Announcement came Thursday, three days after Radius-TWC picked up North American rights to the drama with plans for a spring release. Robin Weigert (“Deadwood”) stars as a married lesbian housewife who decides to become an escort after being concussed by a baseball.

“Concussion” is produced by Rose Troche and exec produced Anthony Cupo and Cliff Chenfeld. It premiered last week at Sundance in the U.S. Dramatic section and has also been selected in Berlin’s Panorama.

The deal was negotiated by Paradigm and Andre Des Rochers for the production and Jamie Carmichael and Rick Kwak for Content.
