Clive Owen to star in ‘Blue Angel’

K5 boards for international sales

Clive Owen has signed on to star in “Blue Angel” for Parts & Labor, which K5 International has boarded for international sales.

The British actor will star as a disillusioned college professor and former novelist whose life is re-energized by a gifted young writing student.

Scripted and helmed by “Nip/Tuck” showrunner Richard Levine from the novel by Francine Prose, the film is described as a “psychological roller coaster ride between sex, seduction and emotional manipulation.”

Lars Knudsen and Jay Van Hoy of Parts & Labor will produce. CAA represents North American rights.
