Clear Vision secures ‘Mission to Lars’

Docu tracks down Metallica drummer

LONDON

Clear Vision has nabbed docu “Mission to Lars” in several European territories.

The distrib acquired rights for U.K. and Ireland, France, German-speaking Europe and Scandinavia to the film, which follows two siblings’ attempt to make their autistic brother’s dream of meeting Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich come true.

Sales rep AV Pictures has also sold the film to Sony for Japan and Curious Film for Australia and New Zealand.

“This film fits perfectly with Clear Vision’s mission of delivering a multi-territory, multi-format and multi-channel solution for quality, independent producers,” said Gil Garagnon, Clear Vision’s international sales and marketing director.

“Missions to Lars” is produced and helmed by William Spicer and James Moore.

Clear Vision will release the film on DVD, Blu-ray and digitally on April 8.
