Exhibitor confab also will fete Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Armie Hammer is set to receive the Male Star of Tomorrow Award at this year’s CinemaCon awarded April 18.
Hammer had his breakout role in “The Social Network” with notable turns in “Mirror Mirror” and Clint Eastwood’s “J. Edgar.” He next stars alongside Johnny Depp in Disney’s summer tentpole “The Lone Ranger.”
CinemaCon, the annual exhibitor conference from the National Assn. of Theater Owners, also will fete Joseph Gordon-Levitt with the Breakthrough Filmmaker of the Year Award. Gordon-Levitt received acclaim at this year’s Sundance with his directorial debut “Don Jon’s Addiction.”
CinemaCon runs April 15-18 in Las Vegas.
