Christian Cooke joins Love, Rosie

Sam Claflin also stars in the Canyon Creek pic based on Cecelia Ahern's book

“Romeo & Juliet” thesp Christian Cooke is stepping into a more modern romantic love story, coming aboard to co-star with Lily Collins and Sam Claflin in the indie “Love, Rosie.”

Christian Ditter is helming, with Tamsin Egerton also attached to the project.

The film is based on the Cecelia Ahern tome and revolves around two best friends whose relationship is tested when one of them moves from Dublin to America.

The pic is a Canyon Creek Films production, with Simon Brooks and Robert Kulzer producing.

Cooke most recently played Mercutio in “Romeo and Juliet,” starring Hailee Steinfeld, and can be seen on the Starz skein “Magic City.” He also stars in the Paramount pic “Destination Wedding.

He is repped by WME, United Agents and Management 360.

    I think Cooke is an immensely talented young actor. My favorites of his being The Promise and GO SEE Unconditional. He blew me away in that. Shame so many indie films go unseen. YAY CC!
