GoDigital sets VOD release for Jan. 10

GoDigital has acquired U.S. rights to buddy comedy “Dumbbells,” starring Carl Reiner, Tom Arnold, Jay Mohr, Jaleel White and Andy Milonakis.

It’s the first appearance by Reiner in a feature since “Ocean’s Thirteen.”

Five-year-old GoDigital, which has released over 700 titles, has set a theatrical and VOD release for Jan. 10.

Christopher Livingston directed “Dumbbells,” produced by Full Blitz Entertainment and Check Your Head Films. Brian Drolet and Hoyt Richards co-wrote the script.

Story follows a trainer (Drolet) who finds new purpose when his gym’s new owner (Richards) unleashes a lucrative plan to turn the neglected business into a reality show.
