Cannes: IFC Acquires U.S. Rights to ‘The Face of Love’

Exclusive Media repping international rights at Cannes

IFC Films has announced U.S. rights to Arie Posin’s “The Face of Love” starring Annette Bening, Ed Harris and Robin Williams.

Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn at Mockingbird Pictures produced the project. Pic is planned for release in September.

Exclusive Media is handling international rights to the film at Cannes.

Pic follows Nikki, a widow who finds romance again with an art teacher who nearly doubles for her lost husband.

Sundance Selects/IFC senior VP Arianna Bocco negotiated the deal with WME and CAA, which repped the filmmakers.

IFC Films is a sister label to IFC Midnight and Sundance Selects, and is owned and operated by AMC Networks Inc.
