Bruce Dern’s ‘Nebraska’ Gets First Trailer

Paramount plans Nov. 15 launch

Paramount has released the first official trailer for Alexander Payne’s “Nebraska,” two months ahead of its U.S. release on Nov. 15.

The comedy, shot in black-and-white, debuted at Cannes, where Bruce Dern won the best actor prize. It also screened last month at the Telluride Film Festival.

The trailer opens with Dern being stopped by a Sheriff’s cruiser, followed by a scene of him questioned by his son, played by Will Forte: “So you told the Sheriff that you were walking to Nebraska?”

“That’s right — to get my million dollars,” Dern replies.

“Nebraska” also stars June Squibb, Stacy Keach and Bob Odenkirk.
