Persistent headaches slow 'Krrish 3' actor's recovery from brain surgery

Despite the recent box office success of his “Krrish 3,” Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan will take a longer break before returning to his jam-packed production schedule.

Roshan, who had tubthumped for “Krrish 3,” released a statement to the media saying, “Before I get ready to resume the shooting of my next, ‘Bang Bang’  in early January 2014 and later ‘Shuddhi’ — I will be taking some time off to recover completely from the recurring headaches that have resurfaced in the last couple of weeks. Both films are physically demanding and I am confident that your love and prayers will heal me completely.”

Indian media have reported that Roshan, who has been suffering from persistent headaches since undergoing surgery to have a blood clot removed in July, may seek medical attention in the U.S.

Roshan was due to return in November for the shooting of Fox Intl. Prods.’ “Bang Bang,” directed by Siddharth Anand. “Shuddhi,” helmed by Karan Malhotra, was to start production in December.
