LONDON

U.K. producer Phil Bland and helmer-scribe Adam Hamdy, who worked together on comedy “Pulp,” set to be the first film to preem on the Xbox360 platform, are reuniting for “Anomaly.”

The sci-fi thriller follows a man who wakes in hospital after a car accident and must try to discover what really happened to him.

Los Angeles-based Rick Alexander will produce through his Alexander Content banner alongside Bland’s Dare Prods.

The project is fully financed, with funding structured and secured by U.K.-based accountancy firm Smith and Williamson, and is scheduled to lense in September.

“Pulp” was acquired by Microsoft in January and will preem on the Xbox Live service on March 4.

The deal was brokered by Pat Nelson of talent and brand management agency SyndicateWorks. Nelson and Hamdy will exec produce “Anomaly.”
