Myriad Pictures has reported brisk international sales for Rubba Nadda’s thriller “Inescapable” at Berlin.
The movie premiered in September at the Toronto Film Festival, where IFC picked up U.S. rights.
“Inescapable” sold to Brazil (Playarte), South Korea (Joy N Content), CIS (Voxell) , Germany (ZDF), Indonesia (P.T. Fresto Pictures), Benelux (Three Lines), Poland (HBO), Israel (Orlando), Scandinavia (Atlantic Film), Turkey (D Prods.) and the Middle East (Eagle Entertainment).
Story follows a successful businessman attempting to rescue his daughter, who goes missing on a trip to Damascus. Her disappearance is tied to his exile, a secret that he has kept from his family.
IFC Films opens on Feb. 22 in the U.S.
