Aubrey Plaza Tapped CinemaCon Honor

Thesp Selected as 'Breakthrough Performer" Of The Year

Aubrey Plaza has been tapped to receive CinemaCon’s “Breakthrough Performer” award this year.

Plaza will receive the kudo at the conference’s awards ceremony April 18 at Caesars Palace.

Plaza is a regular on NBC’s “Parks and Recreation” and starred in 2012’s “Safety not Guaranteed.” She will be see in CBS Films’ comedy “The To Do List,” opening in August.

She’s also in the voice cast of  “Monsters University” and she recently wrapped production on “A Many Splintered Thing.”  Additional film credits include “A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charlie Swan III,” “Damsels in Distress,” “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World” and “Funny People.”
