Mark Canton’s Atmosphere Entertainment has feature rights to Steve Klayman’s action-comedy script “Caught In The Act.”
Canton, whose credits include “300″ and “Immortals,” will produce. Atmosphere’s David Hopwood will co-produce.
Story follows an actor who is confused with a thief he is playing on a crime re-enactment show. His mistaken identity thrusts him into the spotlight of law enforcement and the underworld as he attempts to clear his name.
Atmosphere is in post-production for “300: Rise of an Empire” and “The Tomb.” The banner is developing “Tunnels,” based on the first in a series of novels by Roderick Gordon and Brian Williams with Mikael Hafstrom directing.
Klayman’s writing credits include “The Hustler of Money” and “Luther’s Choice.” He has extensive TV directing credits including “Ripley’s Believe It Or Not,” “Untamed and Uncut” and “MANswers.”
