Argo” screenwriter Chris Terrio has signed with WME.

Terrio won the Oscar and WGA awards for adapted screenplay for “Argo,” based on a selection from “The Master of Disguise” by Antonio J. Mendez and the Wired magazine article “The Great Escape” by Joshuah Bearman. Ben Affleck starred, directed and produced.

Terrio had been repped by CAA. He’s written the script for Paramount’s “A Foreigner,” based on the 2011 article “A Murder Foretold” by David Grann, about Guatemalan assassinations and is adapting Nathaniel Philbrick’s “Bunker Hill” as a potential directing vehicle for Affleck.
