‘Animal Kingdom’ Thesp Boards New Beast with ‘Animal Rescue’

Would join Tom Hardy and Noomi Rapace in thriller

After surviving the Austrialian criminal underworld, “Animal Kingdom” thesp James Frecheville moves to Boston’s criminal underworld by joining the cast of Fox Searchlight’s “Animal Rescue.”

Pic stars Tom Hardy and Noomi Rapace with “Bullhead” helmer Michael R. Roskam directing. Based on the Denis Lehane novel, story follows a man who sheds his crooked past but gets mixed up in a heist that goes bad. Frecheville will play a small-time villain.

Chernin Entertainment is producing.

Frecheville was most recently seen in “Two Mothers” which premiered at Sundance. He is repped by UTA, the Schiff Co., Sloan Offer and Active Artists Management in Melbourne.
