USC School of Cinematic Arts honors Sumner Redstone

The USC School of Cinematic Arts honored Sumner Redstone on Tuesday night in celebration of the newly finished Sumner M. Redstone production building.

Steven Spielberg got the most laughs when he recalled something Redstone once said: “Legacies are for dead people. I already told you I have no intention of leaving.”

Introducing the honoree, George Lucas said that Redstone had “ensured the future of America’s film industry.” That left Redstone to quip, “If I’m being introduced by George Lucas, I must be doing something right.”
