This has been in the works in so very many incarnations for so very, very many years – decades, in fact. I still cannot help but think it’s a much more tourist driven attraction than LACMA, Peterson’s, etc. It belongs in Hollywood, preferably near the Hollywood and Highland complex, where the tourists already are and will visit. The La Brea Tar Pits aside, there is really nothing ‘world renowned’ or destination-driven to draw the crowds of tourists to the museum.

That said, I wish them luck.
