AFM: Alexa Vega, Joanna Going, William Mapother on ‘6 Figures’

Action-thriller set in Mojave Desert

Alexa Vega (“Machete Kills”), “Mad Men” thesp Joanna Going and William Mapother (“Lost”) are heading to the Mojave Desert for action-thriller “6 Figures.”

Double Dutch International has pacted with Fishbowl Films, co-founded by Diane Becker and Melanie Miller, to sell the project at the American Film Market.

Barbara Stepansky, who won the Academy Nicholl Fellowship for her script “Sugar in My Veins,” will direct the film from a script penned by Matt Harry and Dean Donofrio.

“6 Figures” follows four friends stranded in the Mojave Desert. When they find a chest filled with $4 million and decide to carry it out on foot, a two-day trek culminates in lies, paranoia and murder.
