Shooting starting this week in Los Angeles

Matt Bush has come on board indie romantic comedy “Sharon 1.2.3” opposite Skylar Samuels, Nadine Velazquez and Erinn Hayes as the three Sharons of the title.

JuntoBox’s “Sharon 1.2.3” is directed by Mark Brown from his own script. Shooting started this week in Los Angeles, a year after the film — originally titled “Sharon is Caring” — was announced as a greenlight project at the American Film Market.

The film is produced by Nina Yang Bongiovi (“Fruitvale Station”) and Kelly Thomas. Vik Sahay and Aarti Mann (“The Big Bang Theory”) also star.

Based on a story by Wesley Mills, the story follows a technology geek who’s having casual sex with two women coincidentally named Sharon — his business adviser and his protege. Problems arise when he meets a third Sharon and falls in love.

JuntoBox Films, which touts itself as a collaborative film studio for filmmakers and fans, debuted at the 2012 SXSW with Forest Whitaker as co-chair. Its first feature was helmer-scribe Michael Cohn’s thriller “Sacrifice,” starring Dermot Mulroney, shot earlier this year.

Bush starred in “Adventureland” while Samuels appeared in “The Nine Lives of Chloe King.” Velasquez starred in “Flight” and Hayes was in “Children’s Hospital.”
