Aaron Eckhart Joins Robert Salerno’s ‘Fadeout’

Aaron Eckhart will star as a disturbed screenwriter in the psychological thriller “Fadeout,” with production scheduled to start in Puerto Rico in February.

Eckhart’s attachment was announced on the eve of the American Film Market, where the Solution will represent international rights.

“Fadeout” will be directed by Robert Salerno, producer of “Arbitrage,” “21 Grams,” “A Single Man” and “We Need to Talk About Kevin.”

Producers are Anthony Bregman from Likely Story and Naomi Despres from Artina Films.

Salerno will direct from a screenplay by Michael Cristofer (“Original Sin”). The Solution’s Lisa Wilson and Myles Nestel will exec produce alongside John Penotti and Tim Williams.

Eckhart is filming on “Incarnate” and will be seen next in “I, Frankenstein.”
