Story set at a high school reunion

Sony is planning “The Reunion” for Phil Lord and Chris Miller, setting up the comedy project for the “21 Jump Street” duo to produce with Miller directing from his own script.

Details of the story are being kept under wraps other than it taking place at a high school reunion.

Lord and Miller will produce together under their Lord Miller banner. The project will be overseen at Sony by Jonathan Kadin and Hannah Minghella.

The duo, who have been a team since meeting at Dartmouth University, are currently directing the animated “The Lego Movie” for Warner Bros and are attached to direct the sequel “22 Jump Street.”

Miller and Lord also directed and co-wrote the animated “Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs.”

The duo recently signed a three-year first look deal with Twentieth Century Fox TV where they will develop, write and direct their own comedy projects as well as develop and supervise other writers’ projects. Miller and Lord’s history with 20th Century Fox TV includes penning and producing for “How I Met Your Mother.”

Miller and Lord are repped by United Talent Agency and Matthew Johnson and Sam Fischer at Ziffren Brittenham LLP.
