Uncork’d takes rights to ‘The Cloth’

Deal for Justin Price's sci-fi thriller closed Thursday at EFM

Uncork’d Entertainment and Viva Pictures have acquired North American rights to Justin Price’s sci-fi thriller “The Cloth,” starring Danny Trejo and Eric Roberts.

Deal closed Thursday at the European Film Market in Berlin.

“The Cloth,” written and directed by Price and exec produced by Ha-G Hardamon.

“The Cloth” centers on a secret organization formed by the Catholic Church whose sole purpose is to combat the rising number of demonic possessions across the country. Story follows a godless young man who is recruited in order to prepare a new generation to stop the rise of evil.

“The Cloth” co-stars Rachele Brooke Smith, Steven Brand and Robert Miano.

The distribution deal covers North American rights for theatrical, VOD, home entertainment and digital.
