Good Films, FilmNation ink sales pact

Slate includes 'Invisible,' 'Infiltrator,' 'Crocodile,' 'Postcard Killers'

LONDON

U.K. production company Good Films has signed an international sales agreement with Glen Basner’s FilmNation Entertainment, which will rep Good Films’ slate at the Berlin Film Festival.

Titles include Everado Gout’s “Invisible,” Brad Furman’s “The Infiltrator,” Polly Steele’s “The F**k It Button,” “When a Crocodile Eats the Sun,” based on the 2006 memoir by Zimbabwean journo Peter Godwin, “Postcard Killers,” based on a novel by James Patterson and Liza Marklund, and “What I Loved,” based on Siri Hustvedt’s novel.

The six projects are budgeted between $10 million and $52 million. “Invisible” and “The Infiltrator” will lense in summer.

“Our strategy is to handpick long-term finance and creative partners across all our films, essentially creating our own ‘mini-studio’ with a cohesive vision and identity,” said Good Films’ founder and producer Miriam Segal.

“We believe in Miriam’s vision and loved Good Films’ slate of compelling and original films; a long-term partnership made great sense,” said Basner.

Allison Silver, exec VP worldwide production, will oversee Good Films’ slate on behalf of FilmNation.

Berlin unspools Feb. 7 to 17.
